Trinity Lutheran Church Alamosa is a place where regular people gather around Christ's gifts of Word and Sacrament. It doesn't matter how you are dressed, where you're from or even if you show up late to service. Those things aren't the main things at all! Trinity's teachings are all about the Bible's message of Jesus' salvation by grace through faith alone.
We can't earn God's forgivness or love by our works or efforts. The Bible teaches that no person is better than any other person, but all are equal in the eyes of God. So church isn't an exercise in being better or closer to God than someone else. Church is all about Jesus' cross and resurrection and the reality that His work was enough for us.
All that we do is inspired and motivated by the gospel of our salvation, not the other way around. We are blessed by God's Word to understand how much He did for us, and this inspires us to serve him and one another in love and kindness.

What To Expect
A typical service will last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We sing mostly traditional hymns and our service is liturgical in nature. At Trinity we encourage children to be in church with their parents . Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship, snacks and meeting new people.
